We are very much looking forward to teach classes at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design and Merz Akademie again this semester.

A modular and versatile name forms the basis of a variable identity for an architecture start-up that develops spaces and processes that lead to climate-friendly buildings and livable cities.

As a first step in creating a new brand identity for the start-up, formerly known as Urban Scale Timber, the new name BuildSystems was developed and established. The name itself creates a flexible and scalable brand identity that can adapt to various concepts and approaches in architecture, reflecting the company’s core expertise in construction, while also conveying a focus on developing strategic and structured frameworks that streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

The modular nature of the name allows it to be combined with different terms, emphasizing various aspects of the company’s agenda.

In different applications, a simple dash is used to highlight the systematic approach and the two core themes of the company.
